The nissan leaf is already the no. 1 new energy car in the world in terms of cumulative sales, but in China, a huge market, nissan's new energy models seem to be a little weak, and local manufacturers like byd and baic new energy now have a big advantage. At the same time, nissan believes that Chinese start-ups are more flexible than traditional manufacturers, have a stronger impact on the industry, and there is a need for cooperation. Nissan and the three Chinese companies have not commented on the investment.
